Sabre, PayPal and Mindtrip announce an agentic travel booking system

A February 2026 partnership packages travel inventory, payments and an AI planner for chat-based booking. A prompt for travel brands to ask: can an agent book us?

Skift reported on 12 February 2026 that Sabre, PayPal and Mindtrip are building what they call an end-to-end agentic travel booking system, with discovery, booking and trip management through a chat interface.

As reported

  • Sabre's Mosaic APIs cover more than 420 airlines and 2 million hotels.
  • The partnership combines those APIs with PayPal's payment infrastructure and Mindtrip's AI planning tools.
  • Flight booking was slated to launch in Q2 2026, with hotels to follow. We have not confirmed that the launch occurred.

What hotels and airlines should ask

  • Is our inventory, pricing and policy data available in machine-readable form?
  • How would an agent reach our direct booking channel?
  • What are the fees and data-sharing terms of each distribution route?

The article reports plans. Verify current availability before building around it.
