Terms of Service.

1. What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of xelement.io, including the Labs demos, the written library, and the booking tools. They form an agreement between you and xelement.

They do not govern paid client work. Engagements are covered by a separate signed services agreement or statement of work, which takes precedence over everything on this page for anything within its scope.

2. The Labs demos

The demos are provided free, as-is, for evaluation. They run on live infrastructure and real models, which is the point — but that also means:

• No uptime guarantee. They may be rate-limited, changed or taken down at any time without notice.
• Output isn't advice. Nothing a demo produces is legal, financial, medical or professional advice, and it should not be relied on for a decision that matters. The Contract Intelligence and RFP demos in particular illustrate capability — they do not replace a qualified professional.
• Don't submit confidential material.These are public demos. If you want to evaluate against real or regulated data, contact us and we'll arrange an isolated environment.
• Fair use.Don't attempt to overwhelm, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the demos, use them to generate unlawful or harmful content, or route third-party production traffic through them.

3. Your content

Anything you submit to a demo stays yours. We claim no ownership over it, we don't retain it, and we don't use it to train models. You are responsible for having the right to submit whatever you submit.

4. Our content

The site's design, copy, written library and underlying source are ours unless stated otherwise. You may read, quote and share the writing with attribution and a link. You may not republish it wholesale or present it as your own.

Where we have open-sourced a project, that project is governed by the licence in its own repository — not by this page.

5. Work we do for clients

For the avoidance of doubt, and because it's a commitment we make publicly: under our standard engagement terms you own the deliverables we build for you — source, prompts, evaluation suites, and documentation. We don't hold your systems hostage. Exact terms are set out in your signed agreement.

6. No warranties

The website and demos are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that demo output will be accurate or complete.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this website or the free demos. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Liability arising from paid work is addressed in the relevant signed services agreement, not here.

8. Third-party services

The site embeds and relies on third-party services — scheduling, hosting, and the model providers behind the demos. Their terms and policies apply to their portion of the experience, and we aren't responsible for how they operate.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain what we collect and what we don't. Both are part of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use after an update means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which xelement is registered, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Registered entity details are available on request at admin@xelement.io.
